The Inevitability of Revolution

The Inevitability of Revolution

Change is in the nature of the matter. Matter is in continuous process of changing its shape and form. Everything flows, nothing stays. From tinniest object, atom, to the mightiest object, star, everything is in successive movements. They are not what they were yesterday and won’t be the same what they are today. Human attitude, behavior, culture, civilization, religion, philosophy, literature, society and above all politics follow the same rule of nature. History is the greatest evidence of the fact. The struggle to change the human societies from good to better continued with unbroken process through the whole history of mankind. The travel of our society from first commune to slavery and to feudalism and now capitalism is the proof of changing shapes of human societies. The change in politics was always the part of it.

Change is basically in two forms, revolution and evolution. They both can’t be separated from each other. Change in the form of evolution continues till a particular point when revolution becomes unavoidable. The occurrence of change in nature is never in straight line and doesn’t happen periodically rather it is random but necessary. Political systems evolve and keep evolving to a certain stage where revolution becomes essential. The political system of feudalism, for example, didn’t change to capitalist political system with evolution but revolution. A change to have a better quality always occurs with pressure and blast in the nature. Earthquake, flood, lava eruption, wars, freedom movements, revolts and revolutions are the examples of sudden change in qualities of different things in nature. Today’s socio-political system has evolved and has taken its time of evolution, now revolution is inevitable.

Undoubtedly revolution is the only way out in today’s socio-political situation of the world for it can’t evolve anymore. It has stopped evolving and keeping itself fresh. The dirty stink in the shape of terrorism in Syria, Egypt, Iraq and Afghanistan, increased rate of suicide in youth and suicide bombers, extremism, unemployment, psychological pressure of the people, the increased amount of budget on weapons of mass destruction and decreased standards of life can be smelled everywhere in today’s world. The fresh air like happiness, peace and psychological satisfaction can’t be inhaled anywhere. It seems as if the whole world is preparing for a global suicide. The politicians of the world are united to commit a collective suicide of human beings. Revolution can save humanity from this deadly act of politics.

Tom Robbins talking about the need for a revolutionary attitude says, “In times of widespread chaos and confusion, it has been the duty of more advanced human beings--artists, scientists, clowns and philosophers--to create order. In times such as ours, however, when there is too much order, too much management, too much programming and control, it becomes the duty of superior men and women to fling their favorite monkey wrenches into the machinery. To relive the repression of the human spirit, they must sow doubt and disruption.”

Understanding the causes and effects of phenomena, their relations with other phenomena and understanding the similarities and differences with past, present and among these phenomena has always been successful attitudes. Observing the subject separately and ignoring the relation with other phenomena is a wrong attitude of understanding things. Observing things separately and at the same time never forgetting the connection of the specific to general is a scientific attitude. However, most of the analysts do not follow this attitude. They fail to develop a correct perspective because they try to understand things separately and get lost in details. They define the phenomena with its smallest element. They ignore the impacts of other things in politics. The impact of economic system of capitalism can’t be ignored on our political system.

Culture, civilization, ethics, media, literature and politics are the reflections of means of production or the economy of a system. Observing today’s economic system will show the fact that the boom in economy of the different countries are actually the boom in the bank balances of the politicians. The influence of the so-called boom can’t be observed in common man’s life. As mentioned before, the stinky situation of the world is the proof. The world’s maximum economy goes to weapons and cosmetics to gain benefits. Nothing is done for common man in this system. The loan system of the banks is another foolish act of the economists. The loan system is to gain money out of money. The people of the first world countries are compelled to bring down the living standards and are now living in shelters. Hence the politics being the reflection of the economy is rotting.

Revolution can save human beings and humanity from today’s deadly political situation. Other than this every solution is bogus. The solutions introduced by the politicians are to keep these people looting and playing with lives of mankind. Thinking about evolution and let everything take its time is giving them chance to lead us to barbarism.

However, it is really important that the revolution must start from an individual. Every person must see the possibilities of changes in the prevailing circumstances and he must never be contended with what is already there. As mentioned in one of Apple Inc. advertisements, “Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
