Hurt-Wrenching Footages of Gaza Strip

Despite becoming familiar with heart-wrenching incidents here, these days more than ever the photos of frightened Palestine children is breaking my heart and often cause me to shed tears. It is not of religious similarity rather is due to humanity. We are all human beings and do not know why part of us still do not understand the pain of our fellow beings. The poor Palestine children do not deserve this and they did have committed any sin. They deserve a dignified life; a life of free of fear and hunger, with much love in the cuddle of their parents like Israeli children and like billion others across the globe. But they do not and deprived of all their childhood.

They are bombed, lose their family members, mothers and fathers but they do not understand why. In the evening when families come together to have dinner, the child finds her mother missing. When he/she cries, there is no mother to embarrass and clean his/her tears. There are mothers who have lost their children and scream crazily that no one has the gut to hear and stop shedding tears if ever anyone has not stopped having humanitarian feeling. Can ever an artist depict the pain a mother feels while hugging her child who a few minutes ago was sticking to her hands and enjoying her company? Can anyone tell me how father feels when he finds the pieces of his child body?  The answer is of course negative. There is story about a child and a father which somehow reflect part of the feeling of a father partially.  “There were a father and a son. Once they fought with each other and the judge ordered that both of should be lashed in turn. First the father was lashed and son stood and watched out. When the son was lied down to be lashed, father screamed and said that please lash me instead of him also. When asked the about the reason, he replied when I get lashes, I can only feel the pain on my back. When my son is tortured, I feel the intolerable   pain deep down in my soul”.

I am sure that those people in Israel in the front of huge flat screens and watch together the bombardment of Gaza, whether they have lost their humanitarian feeling or do not put themselves in the shoe of Palestinian fathers and mothers. If they did so, they did not club for each bomb sending waves of fear down to spine of Gaza Strip Residents. Basedimages posted on twitter, there were people in Israel who gathered to watch the live bombardment of Gaza and by each rocket launches and bombs that hit Gaza sending plumes of dark-smoke into air, they shout in happiness as they are watching a football world cup.

The overwhelming support for fight against Hamas has provided the government choice to bomb Gaza irrespective of world-wide condemnation. As the United Nations shout about the human tragedy in Gaza, Israel war powers continue bombing on the context of stopping Hamas of shooting rockets toward Israel.

How it is justifiable to continue bombing while there is decline on quantity of rocket launch of Hamas and two thirds of tolls are civilians, particularly women and children.  On Saturday, Israeli air strikes killed 20 people in Gaza taking the death toll to more than 300. An early morning air strike outside a mosque in the southern city of Khan Yunis killed seven people on Saturday, including a woman, emergency services spokesman Ashraf Al Qudra said.Among them were eight members of a single family, including four children, killed by tank fire on their home in northern Gaza, Qudra said.

Later raids killed another 13, bringing the death toll so far to 316 Palestinians and two Israelis.

The UN agency for Palestinian refugees UNRWA has opened 34 of its schools to shelter those fleeing their homes. It said there were 47,000 Gazans seeking sanctuary so far.The World Food Programme said it had already distributed emergency food rations and food vouchers to more than 20,000 displaced people. It said it was gearing up for a huge increase in the coming days and hoping to reach 85,000 people with food distributions.

Meanwhile Israel does not intend to pull back. It continues to bomb and launch a ground attacks against the hideouts of Hamas militants. Israel has said the aim of the ground operation is to destroy Hamas’s network of tunnels which are used for cross-border attacks on southern Israel. Israeli army chief Lieutenant General Benny Gantz, said the army was “expanding the ground phase of the operation.”“There will be moments of hardship,” he warned in a briefing to the military, anticipating further Israeli casualties.

Nobody has ever claimed that Israel has no right to defend itself against the rocket fires from Gaza but it does not have any right to kill civilians and besiege Gaza due to Hamas militants. borders are closed and visible part of Gaza residents are living below poverty line. Meanwhile the world turns the edge of criticisms on Hamas for enraging Israel. Instead of blaming this and that in order to avoid responsible, the world should look to crying and frightened Palestinian children. If it waits and discuss who is responsible and who is not, Israeli air strikes increase the civilian dead tolls which is shame for the entire human beings.
