Parks, Recreation, and “Greenery “Must be Improved

Dear Editor,

The years of neglect, many of Kabul's once-lush green spaces and parks were in a very poor condition. There were numbers of popular Parks in Kabul city once, like Shar-e-Now, located in the heart of Kabul, used to be a popular destination for families with young children but had fallen in not disrepair and had become an eyesore with the passage of time. Unfortunately, wars have torn this park apart and it is pretty much destroyed. Due to many other bold challenges lying ahead of government also couldn't pay any serious concentration over parks and greenery process. Hence, lack of pavements and other walkways are another big problem on the other hand the government also didn't care much about such issues very much.

However, currently there are many challenges in Kabul city to be overcome by the government, but parks are the most serious parts of these all challenges to be concentrated over, there is no free open space for the Kabul residents, especially for the families to go for a round of walk or for refreshment everything is getting so limited day by day, the big refreshment for the families is hotel. Finally, the government must pay little bit more attention over the Kabul parks, building parks and working on the greenery system will remind us all the real beauty of Kabul once that was full of tress and beautiful parks. Best Regards
