It is Rush Here in Kabul

Dear Editor,

The winter which is very hard in capital Kabul has gone and now it is spring. As the weather gets warmer more business is done in Kabul and people from across Afghanistan come here for different purposes. Therefore, this city is becoming crowded as each day passes. Already it is estimated that around four million people are living in Kabul. Here huge crowds are notable. With the growing number of people, security concerns are also increasing.

We should not forget the possibility of insurgent attacks on Kabul. If such incidents occur the death toll would be very high. Therefore, the authorities responsible for security should keep on owl's eye in order to avoid any incidents.

Not only the security forces but also the people should remain alert and inform the police as soon as they observe any suspicious objects or person. This is the only way we can play our role in safeguarding our own lives.

Best Regards

Fawzia Fakhri

Khoshal Khan, Kabul
