Neglect by Election Related Agencies  will Make Afghanistan Instable: Abdullah

KABUL - Any kinds of neglect by election related agencies in staging the presidential elections in April will lead Afghanistan towards instability, presidential candidate Abdullah Abdullah said on Saturday.

Speaking in a ceremony held by Razi Health Science Institute’s students in Kabul, Abdullah added that he is going to oversee the votes of his supporters in the election.

“We will never reach political stability if fraud determines our fates,” Abdullah said. “Once more, we ask IEC (Independent Election Commission) and ECC (Electoral Complaints Commission) and other related agencies to be more careful about their responsibilities operate in an impartial way. Any negligence will cause instability."

At the ceremony, Abdullah’s first Deputy Eng Mohammad Khan criticized the formation of Jirgas for making coalitions between presidential candidates.

The students, who are newly graduated from Razi Health Institute, are worry over accessing jobs in the country.

“As you know Afghanistan’s situation, if you have money or middlemen, you can receive a post, if you are lack these two things, never,” a graduate student of Razi Institute, Saifurahman, told TOLOnews.

Last week while addressing his fans in Kabul Sports Stadium, Abdullah accused some high-ranking government officials of interfering in the election process. (Tolonews)
