KABUL - A credible source on Saturday while talking to Bokhdi news said that presidential candidate Abdul Qayum Karzai withdraws in favor of another presidential candidate Zalmai Rasul. According to the source presidential candidate Abdul Qayum Karzai may soon officially announce the coalition.

The source in charge of anonymity says that the decision was made in Kandahar tribal elders' session in intercontinental hotel of capital Kabul.The negotiations reportedly started on Tuesday and further talks are expected to take place on Saturday to persuade presidential candidates Abdul Qayum Karzai and Zalmai Rasoul to make a coalition.

The source stated that president Karzai during his visit to Kandahar province has met tribal elders and told them to make final decision about his and his brother future political fate.The upcoming elections are scheduled to be held on April this year.However, the source who spoke with Bokhdi news said that three of the 11 candidates were considering throwing their weight behind Zalmai Rasoul. Dawoud Soltanzoy, Gul Agha Sherzai and Rahim Wardak are these three.
