President Heads to  Ankara for Tripartite Summit

KABUL -  President Hamid Karzai, leading a high-level delegation, on Tuesday left for Ankara to attend a trilateral summit among Afghanistan, Pakistan and Turkey, his office said

During the three-day visit, is scheduled to meet Turkish President Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan to discuss ways of enhancing bilateral relations.

He is accompanied by Foreign Minister Zarar Ahmad Osmani, Minister of National Defense Bismillah Mohammadi, High Peace Council (HPC) Chairman Salahuddin Rabbani and National Security Advisor Dr. Spanta.

Advisor on International Relations Yahya Marufi, Chief of Staff to the President Abdul Karim Khuram, Acting Director General of Directorate of National Security (NDS) Eng. Rahmatullah Nabil, HPC Secretariat head Masoom Stanikzai and President’s spokesperson Aimal Faizi are also part of the delegation. (Pajhwok)
