National Employees Qualify for Etisalat Global High Potential Program

KABUL - Etisalat Afghanistan is resolved to be a key partner in the development of Afghanistan. Etisalat takes this commitment as a corner stone of its business strategy. Since the inception of Etisalat Afghanistan, numerous steps have been taken to spearhead the progress and well being of the Afghan Nationals at all levels in the company. We are pleased to announce the completion of the global High Potential program by three of Etisalat Afghanistan’s local National Employees.

This program which is supported by Etisalat Group – is aimed at developing the High Potential employees across the Etisalat group as the future leaders of Etisalat. The selection process was totally based on merit. Three Etisalat Afghanistan’s local National employees Namely Sayed Khodadad Mousavi, Ghulam Nabi and Mir Habib Orya – qualified and successfully completed the two- year program. The total number of selected HiPos was forty seven from eighteen different Etisalat Subsidiaries in sixteen Countries. The HiPos went through rigorous Training & Development programs ranging from mini MBA, Business strategy, and value creation to Business, Leadership skills, Business challenges - to practical business development assignments in collaboration with the best and renowned business schools in the world including Harvard, Duke etc which lasted for a period of two years.

After successful completion of this program Etisalat Afghanistan shall cross train them in Etisalat subsidiaries. There they would be provided with extensive opportunities to brush up their skills through hands on exposure.

The second global High Potential Program shall be launched in the coming month.  Etisalat Afghanistan intends to nominate more local national employees to participate in this program to further strengthen the global leadership pool of Etisalat. Through this program we are expecting great progress for the Afghan People in the shape of a highly developed and trained work force to act as the prime force for gearing the economy towards the ultimate benefit of Afghanistan.
