Etisalat Promotes 112 Local Employees to Next Scale

Etisalat has promoted 112 Local Afghan Employees to next Scale. The massive promotions have been done to motivate young local officers in the company to assume the positions of responsibility, in key roles. The Company values the contribution of Locals for the progress and uplift of the business in highly challenging market. That very fact has been acknowledged by Etisalat Management. And true to their resolve of partnering in the development of the Afghanistan, the major chunk of the promotions has been allocated to Local Afghans, in line with the criteria and their share of contributions.

The Local Afghans make 96% of the total promotions. That big share demonstrates the passion and commitment of the local employees for the Company business that have translated into their primary eligibility for the promotions. With these set of promotions, the Etisalat is bracing towards their long standing commitment of, preparing the Locals to assume the positions of the responsibility to run the Company as the real levers.

On this occasion, the CEO Etisalat Mr. Ahmed Alhosany has congratulated all these local employees and expressed his trust on their inherent potential, which is reaping into tangible results for the company. He further stressed upon the Local Employees to unleash their real potential and discretionary energies for the uplift of the company with a mutual objective of societal contribution and bottom line objectives.

Mr. Alhosany has reiterated Company's long standing commitment for the progress and prosperity of the Afghanistan through capacity building of the young Afghans. The Succession Development Program for the Locals holds a key part in this development program. Through this program 70 Local Afghans are being developed through vigorous trainings- overseas and in house under the auspices of World's renowned trainers and coaches. This program encapsulates the other development dimensions through On Job Coaching and Mentoring.

All this is aimed at preparing the Local Afghans, taking the levers of Etisalat in much more strong capacities of leadership. The Etisalat true to its credo of real development partners of the Afghanistan aims at developing the Local Afghans for the ultimate benefit of this country. That is the real objective.
