KABUL – Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani have sent greeting messages to President Hamid Karzai and the Afghan nation at the occasion of Afghanistan's Revolution Day falling on 27th April 2012.

In his message, President Zardari has said that "Pakistan and Afghanistan are two brotherly neighbors and close bond of friendship and deep-rooted interaction between our nations is the hallmark of our common history". Pakistani President urged efforts to promote harmony and understanding to achieve better future for both the countries.

Prime Minister of Pakistan in his message has underlined that "our destinies like our histories are inter-twined". He has emphasized a mature and stable partnership to promote peace, progress and development of the two countries and their peoples.

The two Pakistani leaders have conveyed their best wishes for the brotherly people of Afghanistan. (PR)
