KABUL - The 3G services launch by Etisalat Afghanistan, the fastest growing telecommunications company in Afghanistan and part of Etisalat telecommunications Group of United Arab Emirates, is attracting a lot of attention and interest among the customers here in Afghanistan.
Last week Etisalat became the first company to launch 3G services in Afghanistan marking significant progress and evolution in the telecommunications history of the country.
The Service agreement was signed by the Chairman of Afghanistan Telecommunication Regulatory Authority, H.E. Abdul Wakil Shergul and Etisalat's Afghanistan CEO, Mr. Ahmed Alhosani during a ceremony held at Ministry of Communications & Information Technology office in Kabul. Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Mr. Amir Zai Sangin and Minister of Finance Dr. Omar Zakhilwal, Minister also attended the ceremony along with high level government officials and members of media fraternity.
Mr. Yasser Aboul Amayem while explaining various features of 3G launch by Etisalat`s Afghanistan said, "Afghanistan has come a long way in terms of its growth in the telecommunications industry and its role in the development of society. We are proud to the first telecommunications company to introduce 3G services aimed at improving peoples lives by enhanced speed and connectivity."
He stated further " Our focus is our customers and we strive to exceed their expectations and cellular experience by introducing innovative packages designed to meet their specific needs. With ever growing network and competitive pricing; Etisalat 3G services shall be complementing our existing 2G network to provide unmatched quality to our ever increasing customer base."
Through the launch of 3G services in Afghanistan, now Etisalat customers can enjoy high speed voice and data transfer and advanced internet connectivity and services including surfing, uploading and downloading songs, video-clips and share with friends and family in any part of the world instantly.
