KABUL - Afghanistan Central Bank (DAB) announced that it has discovered fake Afghani notes made by a clever group using sophisticated machines.
Head of Afghanistan Central Bank (ACB), Noorullah Delawari, told TOLOnews that one-thousand and five-hundred notes have been forged using a kind of ordinary paper.

The silver strip in the fake notes do not reflect different colors, while in the legal notes it does, Mr Delawari said.

The Central Bank has sent the specifications of fake notes to money changers in all the provinces and all security organizations to distinguish real and fake notes.
