President Ghani Calls on CENTCOM Commander Mckenzie

KABUL - A delegation led by the US Marine commander of Central Command in their meeting with the Afghan president outlined further details of the recent telephonic call between the heads of two states.
Afghan President Ashraf Ghani and US President Joe Biden in their telephonic call on Friday reiterated the continuation of the partnership between the two countries.
General McKenzie and President Ghani in their Sunday meeting discussed the security situation of Afghanistan and priorities for gaining control over the situation.
The meeting too was focused upon support to Afghan National Defense and Security Forces.
Afghanistan Ministry of interior affairs recently said that a security plan will soon be implemented to recapture districts fallen to the Taliban over the past two months.
Earlier president Ghani had announced his new six-month security situation which he believes will change the security situation across the country.
US military has recently conducted four airstrikes in southern Kandahar and Helmand provinces in support to ANDSF which were condemned by the Taliban and warned consequences. (Khaama Press)
