Taliban to  Present  Written Peace Scheme Next Month

DOHA - Amid the intensified conflict between the Taliban and government forces which leads to the exchange of districts, the insurgent group’s spokesperson has told Reuters that they tend to present a written plan of peace to the Afghan government.
Zabiullah Mujahid has said that the proposal to be presented to the peace negotiating team of the Afghan government based in the Qatari capital, Doha as soon as next month.
After gaining over hundred districts nationwide, the Taliban spokesman says that though they have upper hand in the ongoing conflicts, they are rather serious to accelerate the stalled peace talks to culminate in a conclusion.
Mujahid has also said that peace scheme by both sides will possibly take one month to be finalized.
On the other hand, US department of state has called on the warring sides in Afghanistan to utilize the opportunity and end the four-decade war through negotiations as talks is the only way to wrap up the misery.
Taliban after the evacuation of Bagram airfield gain much momentum and advanced their territories namely in the north of Afghanistan. The ongoing accelerated confrontation between government forces and the Taliban has led to over one thousand ANDSF personnel flee into neighboring Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. (Khaama Press)
