KABUL - The Indian Embassy in Kabul on Tuesday announced 1,000 scholarships for Afghan students in undergraduate, post graduate and PHD disciplines.
In a tweet, the embassy said it was pleased to “announce 1000 ICCR scholarship slots to Afghan students to pursue UG, PG and PhD courses at Indian Universities/Institutions for the AY 2021-22. The online admissions @ http://a2ascholarships.iccr.gov.in open from 15 March 2021.”
It is worth mentioning that India annually announces hundreds of higher education scholarships for Afghan student over the past few years.
Since 2001, India provided Afghanistan with $3 billion assistance in different areas, including agriculture, education, health and reconstruction. (Pajhwok)
