KABUL - First Vice President Amrullah Saleh said security forces detained three bodyguards of Shahpoor Hassanzoi, a member of the Wolesi Jirga (Parliament) from Logar, carrying 10 million and 100,000 afghanis, who also have beaten a police officer.
Saleh wrote on his Facebook page, that the security forces had arrested three bodyguards of Shahpoor Hassanzoi, a Member of Parliament from Logar, for beating a policeman, possessing an illegal weapon.
Security personnel also seized 10 million and One hundred thousand afghanis carried by the perpetrators.
The men are referred to the Attorney General’s Office and the department is advised not to be influenced by anyone.
According to Saleh, the criminals must face the required punishment for breaking the LAW.
Last Thursday, a policeman was beaten in Kabul by the bodyguard of Logar MP Shahpoor Hassanzai (Member of Parliament), the lower house of parliament, this action provoked strong reactions from the public. (Khaama Press)
