Mohib Praises Security Forces’  Coordination in Khost

KHOST CITY - National Security Advisor (NSA) Hamdullah Mohib on Saturday said the enemies of Afghanistan did not want a permanent and strong system, but instead wanted to destroy the system.
Mohib made these remarks during a visit to southeastern Khost province on Saturday.
Javid Faisal, National Security Council (NSC) spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News that Mohib also held meetings with a number of civil and military officials in Khost city, the provincial capital.
Governor Sediq Patman told the meeting that people’s cooperation with security forces helped improved the security situation in the province.
He urged Mohib to increase the strength of security forces in the province.
Mohib praised coordination among security forces, saying the central administrative was trying to boost coordination among the authorities concerned.
He also met with a number of provincial council members, religious scholars, tribal elders, women and youth during his trip to Khost province.
Shah Mahmood, the provincial Ulema Council head, told the gathering that religious scholars should be given authority in decision making.
Mohib said it was the enemy’s desire to deprive Afghanistan of having a permanent and strong governance system. (Pajhwok)
