KABUL: President Ashraf Ghani has appointed Abdul Hadi Arghandiwal as acting finance minister through a presidential decree, an official said on Tuesday.
Wahid Omar, a senior advisor to President Ashraf Ghni in public and strategies affairs, tweeted, the new cabinet members appointment was ongoing.
He said after completion of the cabinet, all new ministers would be introduced to the Wolesi Jirga for a vote of confidence.
Abdul Hadi Arghandiwal, also chief of his own faction of Hezb-i-Islami Afghanistan (HIA), has served as economy minister during the National Unity Government. (Pajhwok)
