KABUL - An Afghan immigrant has been stabbed in Konya province for bringing coronavirus to Turkey, a media report said on Saturday.
Habibullah was stabbed while fishing at a lake in the central province, according to İhlas News Agency, which identified the killer by his initials – UG.
“Are you bringing coronavirus here?” the attacker shouted. After suffering three stab wounds, Habibullah was rushed to hospital. He is said to be in critical condition.
The murderer has been arrested by police, who said the attacker had mental disorders. (Pajhwok)
