Afghan Embassy in Iran Temporarily Suspends Consular Services Over Coronavirus Fears

TEHRAN - Afghanistan Embassy in Iran on Sunday temporarily suspended consular services amid the coronavirus outbreak.
In a notice, the embassy said that cases of coronavirus were reported in some provinces of Iran.
The notice said that considering high number of visitors at consular section of the embassy and to prevent the spread of the killer disease which quickly spreads in gatherings, it cannot deliver consular services until Wednesday.
The embassy, however, said that consular services will be available in emergency cases.
The embassy said that it was seeking solution for restart of consular services in a safe manner.
At least 29 cases of coronavirus and six deaths have been reported in Iran. (1TV NEWS)
