KABUL - The Saudi minister of education has met the Afghan ambassador to the oil-rich kingdom in Riyadh, says a news report.
Dr. Hamad bin Mohammed Al Al-Shaikh and Jalal Kareem discussed deep-rooted relations between the two countries, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
They reviewed bilateral cooperation on educational programmes being offered in the two countries.
The two sides also conferred on scholarships for Afghan students seeking admissions to Saudi universities. (Pajhwok)
