Iran, Afghanistan Discuss Mutual  Cooperation, Regional Developments

TEHRAN - Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and Afghanistan’s National Security Adviser Hamdollah Moheb in a meeting in New Delhi exchanged views on the bilateral relations and recent developments taking place in the country.
During the meeting on the sidelines of ‘RAISINA Dialogue 2020’ in India’s capital on Tuesday, the two sides underlined the need for broadenings of mutual cooperation in different fields.
Zarif and Moheb also reviewed the latest regional and international developments.
Zarif is in the Indian capital to attend the 4th 'RAISINA Dialogue 2020' which started on Tuesday and will continue until Thursday (January 16).
The Iranian foreign minister will hold meetings with Indian and other foreign officials on the sidelines of the international gathering in addition to delivering a speech to the conference.
In a relevant development on Tuesday, Zarif met with Minister of State at the German Federal Foreign Office Niels Annen on Tuesday, and discussed the developments surrounding the implementation of the 2015 nuclear deal.
The RAISINA Dialogue is a multilateral conference held annually in New Delhi. Since its inception in 2016, the conference has emerged as India’s flagship conference on geopolitics and geo-economics. (FNA)
