KABUL - The United Arab Emirates (UAE) hopes the presidential elections will help boost the institution building process in Afghanistan.
The polls conducted on September 28 would also help the country achieve peace, progress and prosperity, the Foreign Ministry in Abu Dhabi said.
In a statement on Tuesday, the ministry welcomed the announcement of the preliminary results from the presidential elections.
“Rh UAE supports the Afghan elections and views them as an important step towards achieving political stability in the country,” the statement added. (Pajhwok)
