KANDAHAR CITY - Unidentified gunmen shot dead a shopkeeper in the Dand district of southern Kandahar province on Tuesday morning, an official said.
A police official, who wished to go unnamed, told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident happened in the Hashmat Kala area of the district early in the morning.
He said two motorcyclists gunned down Haji Rahmatullah, who had a cloth shop in Kandahar City, the provincial capital.
The assailants managed to escape the area. There was no immediate claimed of responsibility for the attack. (Pajhwok)
