KABUL ─ Late on last night [December 29, 2019], the Ministry of Interior banned the radiator heating systems of the hotels and high-rise buildings that were using non-standardized fossil fuels.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Interior Affairs, Deputy Interior Minister for Security, Brigadier Gen. Khoshal Sadat, and the agents of the National Environmental Protection Agency, closed the radiator heating systems of five high-rise buildings and hotels late on last night.
General Sadat, underscored that no one is allowed to add to the causes of air pollution in Kabul.
It is, in the meantime, stated by the ministry of interior as warning the owners of high-rise buildings and hotels to stop using non-standardized fuels for heating. (TKG)
