KABUL - The Ministry of Interior on Tuesday claimed thwarting an attempt at smuggling drugs to India at the Kandahar airport.
Police detained at the airport three individuals who were trying to smuggle a kilogram of heroin to India, the ministry said in a statement.
A day earlier, law-enforcement agencies frustrated an effort to smuggler narcotics to India at the Herat airport. (Pajhwok)
