KABUL - The Taliban say they will not attend intra-Afghan negotiations before the signing of an agreement with the US signs on the complete pullout of foreign troops from Afghanistan.
Suhail Shaheen, speaking for the Taliban negotiating team, tweeted on Friday that the insurgent movement had no plan to stop hostilities before a deal on foreign troop withdrawal deal.
He wrote: “Intra-Afghan negotiations will begin only after an agreement with America on the withdrawal of all foreign troops from Afghanistan is signed.”
According to Shaheen, representatives of all Afghan sides will be part of the Intra-Afghan talks as and when they begin.  However, the Taliban have so far refused to talk directly to the government in Kabul. (Pajhwok)
