Afghan, Kazakhstan Bilateral Relations Growing

KABUL - Embassy of Kazakhstan on November 28, held a round table discussion with media representatives on the occasion of two national celebrations of Kazakhstan; Kazakhstan first president’s day and Kazakhstan Independence day.
Alimkhan Yessengeldiyev, Ambassador of Kazakhstan in Kabul, pointing to the growing economic relations between the two countries said, the trade volume between the two countries in 2018, and increased 1.5 percent compared to 2017.
Based on the cultural cooperation agreement between the two countries in education sector, signed on November 22, 2009, “more than 1,000 students have received scholarship from 2010 to 2016”, said  Yessengeldiyev.
Overall, during past 28 years friendly bilateral relations between the two countries, Kazakhstan has donated about 75 million dollars to Afghanistan. (DOA)
