Treasures from  Afghanistan Reach  Hong Kong

KABUL - Hundreds of rare artifacts from Afghanistan have reached the Hong Kong Museum of History, says a media report.
According o Xinhua, the valuable items are the centre of attention at an exhibition titled "Glistening Treasures in the Dust -- Ancient Artifacts of Afghanistan".
Currently on show in Hong Kong, the artifacts included goldware, glassware, bronze sculptures and ivory carvings, the news agency said.
The 231 pieces of Afghanistan’s national treasures were unearthed at the famous archaeological sites of Tepa Fullol, Ai Khanum, Tillya Tepa and Bagram.
Before making their way to Hong Kong, the artifacts were displayed at 28 museums across the world.
Jointly hosted by HKSAR's Leisure and Cultural Services Department and National Museum of Afghanistan, the event is a key exhibition for the museum this year. (Pajhwok)
