UNAMA Vehicle Comes Under  Attack in Panjsher

CHARIKAR - A vehicle of the UN Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) came under armed attack in central Panjsher province, an official said on Thursday.
Police chief Gen. Mohammad Ishaq Tamkin told Pajhwok Afghan News a vehicle carrying the UN mission’s workers were attacked by Taliban militants late on Wednesday.
He said the incident occurred as the vehicle was on its way to the provincial capital. Fortunately, no one suffered harm in the attack, the police chief added..
Security forces visited the site and conducted an investigation into the incident around, for which there was no immediate claimed of responsibility. (Pajhwok)
