Karzai Condoles with Zardari Over Nusrat Bhutto’s Death

ISLAMABAD - President Hamid Karzai has condoled with his Pakistani counterpart Asif Ali Zardari over the death of his mother-in-law Begum Nusrat Bhutto. During a phone call to Zardari late on Thursday, Karzai prayed to God to rest the former first lady's soul in eternal peace, said Farhatullah Babar, the presidential spokesman.
Nusrat Bhutto, the widow of former Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, had endured great tragedies in her life, the Afghan leader said.

Karzai, Zardari and Turkish President Abdullah Gul will meet in Istanbul next week on peace, stability and reconciliation in Afghanistan, as well as economic cooperation among the three countries.

Pakistan Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar would lead Pakistan's delegation to a regional conference on Afghanistan, scheduled for Wednesday in Turkey.
