KABUL - US deputy ambassador to Afghanistan Decker Karen and Afghanistan deputy foreign minister Idrees Zaman have discussed the list of Afghan negotiating team with the Taliban, a statement said Tuesday.
Zaman briefed the US envoy on the Kabul Process Conference, convention of the Peace Jirga and upcoming presidential elections and stressed improved Kabul and Washington relationship, the statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) said.

It said the US diplomat provided detail information to Zaman regarding recent talks between the US representative for Afghan reconciliation and the Taliban in Qatar and said the Afghan government would play a central role in talks with the Taliban. (Pajhwok)
