Saddened Families, Friends of Kabul Bombing Victims Demand Lasting Peace

KABUL - Hundreds bareheaded people, including family members and friends have, carried the bodies of those killed in Monday blast in capital Kabul to their graves and demanded durable peace and stability in the country.
According to eyewitnesses, eight people were killed and tens injured in a blast near the Kabul Municipality when protesters were leaving the area.
Hundreds rallied on Monday morning in the Pashtunistan Square asking the government to improve security situation in Ghazni’s Malistan and Jaghori districts.
Daesh also known as Islamic State claimed responsibility for the yesterday bombing.
The corpses of a man and two girls laid to rest in the Omaid Township cemetery in capital Kabul, the event was attended scores of people including friends and family members of deceased.
Ali Hassan Akbari, the father of Mohammad Ismael Bashardost who was killed in yesterday bombing, said: “His son always stood against, injustice, occupation, brutality and wrong doing until he lost his life in this way.”
He said his son was graduated from Kabul University’s Science Faculty and worked with a foreign NGO.
Ismael left behind his little son and two daughters --- seven and two years old.
Akbari said the establishment of peace was his dire demand and asked conflicting parties reconcile and end the ongoing bloodshed.
The 22-year old Fereshta Akbari and 23-year-old Fatema Sultani are another two individuals who were killed in yesterday bombing.
Monasa Akbari, the deceased ant while crying loudly, said: “Fereshata you have gone forever, you have gone, which memory of you I shall forget.”
Monasa told Pajhwok Afghan News that she wanted security and stability not only in Malistan district but nation-wide.
Abdul Qayyuom Sajadi, Wolesi Jirga member from Ghazni province, also took part in burial of Kabul bombing victims.
He condemned the yesterday attack and said: “We don’t know why we have been killed when we raise up for justice. The more we are killed the stronger we emerge for justice,” he vowed.
He said heavy fighting was underway in Malistan and Jaghori district and thousands of families had been displaced. (Pajhwok)
