BAMYAN CITY - President Ashraf Ghani has inaugurated work on three power projects in central Bamyan province.
The projects included construction of 220/20kv substation, 220kv electricity transmission line from Doshi to Bamayn and establishment of electricity supply network for 20,000 houses.
Amanullah Ghalib, director of the provincial power utility, told reporters that the projects worth $80 million, were contracted with three companies—two Indian and one Chinese.
The Asian Development Bank would provide the fund for the projects which would complete within two years, he concluded. (Pajhwok)
