Afghanistan, India to Hold High Level Meetings in Near Future

KABUL - High-level engagements between New Delhi and Kabul will commence soon between the officials of the two countries, a statement from the National Security Council (NDS) said on Wednesday.
This was stated during a meeting between National Security Advisor (NSA) Hamdullah Mohib and India Ambassador to Afghanistan Vinay Kumar who called on Mohib at his office.
Both dignitaries have discussed the current state of relationship and development of joint economic, security and political engagements.
The Indian envoy congratulated Mohib on assuming the office of NSC and assured his country’s long-term support and cooperation. 
The envoy discussed the security of Indian nationals in Afghanistan joint security commission future meeting and implementation of agreements already made.
NSA has thanked that Indian envoy for his country’s support in the critical time and sincere friendship.
Mohib directed concerned authorities to stay engaged with the Indian embassy for the follow up of issued discussed during the meeting. (Pajhwok)
