KABUL - Martyrdom Anniversary of Allama Shahid Sayed Ismail Balkhi was commemorated Saturday July 22 in Kabul. Many Government high ranking officials, MPs, and national figures participated in the event. Sarwar Danish,the  Second VP,  in parts of his speech said that “freedom, social justice and national unity constituted the main concepts of Shahid Balkhis’s thought”. Shahid Balkhi on national identity and combating discrimination says that, “Unity of thought and action leads to prosperity”. Shahid Balkhi neither has sought for kaliphate, nor emirate or monarchy, but he has recommended the “Republic” in his peeches and poems. Danish stated.
In the history of Hazara and Shia people of Afghnstan, Allama Faiz Mohammad Kateb Hazara, Allama Sayed Ismail Balkhi, and the Nartyr of National Unity, Abdul Ali Mazari, are the three outstanding figures who injected the three humanistic and life giving of “knowledge, freedom and justice” to our souls, Danish said.
