KABUL - Senior official of the Foreign Ministry Najib Fahim has been appointed State Minister of Natural Disaster Management, according to Presidential Order.
His appointment came in compliance to the first presidential decree of the New Year, the president prayed for his success in the new occupation.
A close source at the National Unity Government (NUG) told Pajhwok Afghan News that Fahim had served as senior legal officer at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
His appointment came after deal between Atta Mohammad Noor and Presidential Palace.
Earlier, the current Interior Minister Wais Barmak served as State Minister for Natural Disaster. (Pajhwok)
