Afghanistan Beats Zimbabwe in First of Five ODI Matches

SHARJAH - Afghanistan beat Zimbabwe by 154 runs in Friday night’s One Day International in the UAE. Afghanistan’s National Cricket team on Friday night beat Zimbabwe in the first of five One Day International (ODI) cricket matches in their series in Sharjah.
Afghanistan batted first and posted a total of 333/5 - a whopping target for Zimbabwe.
Afghanistan’s Rahmat Shah shined with his 114 run haul and Najibullah Zadran came close with 81 runs for Afghanistan.
Rashid Khan picked 4/26 and Zimbabwe was bowled out for 179.
Rahmat Shah was man of the match.
Earlier Afghanistan beat Zimbabwe in two T20 matches in Sharjah.
The two teams will face each other in five One-Day Internationals (ODIs) from February 9 to 19.
All the matches will be played at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
The second ODI will be in Sharjah on Sunday.  (Tolo news)
