KABUL - The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) has voiced its willingness to support Afghanistan’s private and public sectors.
ICC members met Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah at his office on Saturday. They thanked the CEO for his cooperation in solving their problems.
A representative of the Afghanistan women’s chamber of commerce and industries asked for ICC membership for the private sector and the cabinet’s economic committee.
A statement from his office said Abdullah acknowledged the ICC’s significant role in improving the economic situation in Afghanistan.
People would be hopeful about their future when Afghan traders and entrepreneurs invested in the war-torn country, Abdullah said. (Pajhwok)
