NEW DELHI - Thimphu-On the occasion of the 33rd SAARC Charter Day, SAARC Development Fund organized a meeting to mark SAARC Charter Day and to brief the stakeholders on the ongoing SDF funded projects in Bhutan. The event was attended by His Excellency Lyonchhen Tshering Tobgay, Prime Minister of Bhutan. Lyonchhen Tshering Tobgay wished SDF team all the best and conveyed his wishes and greetings on the occasion of SAARC Charter Day. The meeting also brought together high-ranking government officials, resident Ambassadors, heads of international organizations, civil society representatives and implementing agencies of SDF funded projects, among others.
Dr. Sunil Motiwal, CEO of SDF, said that “SDF, as an umbrella financial institution for SAARC project and programs is fully committed to promote regional integration and economic cooperation among the SAARC Member States through project funding and collaboration.” (PR)
