NUG Failed to Ensure Safety of People: Mohaqiq

KABUL – Addressing a gathering in Kabul on Friday, Mohammad Mohaqiq, the second deputy of the chief executive Abdullah Abdullah, said the country will witness “bigger tragedies” if government fails to implement better plans for ensuring the safety of mosques.
Mohaqiq called on the nation to be cautious “because the enemies of Afghans are mad than before”.
“Innocent people are killed because of their religion, believes and ethnics. This crime is unforgivable,” said Mohaqiq.
Participants of the event meanwhile remembered the activities of Qurban Ali Erfani former senator who died two years ago.
“He was an expert in the field of philsophy, religious knowledge, jurisprudence and ethics and he has written many books,” said Sayed Aqa Fazel Sancharaki, deputy minister of publications for the information and culture ministry.
“Qurban Ali Erfani played a positive role in different situations,” said Mohammad Akbari, an MP.
The remarks come after a series of attacks on a number of mosques in the country which left dozens of people dead and wounded. (Tolonews)
