BRI has Created Millions of Jobs, Claims China

BEIJING - Tuo Zhen, the spokesperson for the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) said on Tuesday the initiative proposed by President Xi Jinping conformed to the development needs of regional countries along the Silk Road.
He told reporters in Beijing ahead of the 19th National Congress CPC opening ceremony BRI was showing positive results in the countries involved, as all projects were being carried out with meaningful consultation and without any political interference.
He said the investment of Chinese companies was widely appreciated by BRI countries as it had created million of jobs and paid more than $1 billion taxes in various categories.
The spokesperson BRI was included in various United Nations documents due to its significance for the infrastructural development and its role in regional economic stabilisation.
The 19th CPC National Congress begins today (Wednesday) in Beijing. He noted more than 100 countries had agreed with the Chinese initiative of development.
The credentials of 2,287 delegates to the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China have been approved. The congress will hear and examine a report submitted by the 18th CPC Central Committee.
It will also deliberate on a report from the 18th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection besides adopting amendments to the party's constitution and electing its 19th Central Committee and 19th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.  (Pajhwok)
