KABUL - President Ashraf Ghani has underlined the need for equal acquisition of technical and professional education by men and women, his office said on Friday.
Speaking at a workshop here on Thursday, the president called for creating facilities for males and females to acquire technical and professional education.
According to a statement from the Presidential Palace, higher education experts, students and senior officials of education and social affairs ministries took part in the event.
Different subjects, including the value of technical education, teachers’ capacity development and challenges to educational institutes came up for discussion.
