KABUL - President Ashraf Ghani has appointed Border and Tribal Affairs Minister Mohammad Gulab Mangal as the governor of eastern Nangarhar province, replacing Salim Khan Kunduzi who had resigned citing personal reasons.
Mangal would also serve as presidential advisor on tribal affairs, according the state-run Radio Television Afghanistan (RTA) on Tuesday.
