NDS Urges Formation of Special Tribunal for Terrorists

KABUL - National Directorate of Security (NDS) highlighted the need for formation of a special tribunal mainly for trial of terrorists. The Afghan intelligence organization said that there are lenient articles in the penal code that can avoid insurgents to face required punishments. Meanwhile, the Tolo news has obtained the footage of Kabul intercontinental attack.

The footage shows that the suicide attackers are making phone calls to their leaders in Pakistan for more directions.
Recently a number of other insurgents have also been arrested in connection with insurgent activities, the NDS said.

But the detention of a number of Afghan would-be-suicide bombers aged between 11 to 12 years has been described as something unprecedented.
These kids were trained and instructed in seminaries in Pakistan to carry out suicide attacks in their home country.

"During the government of Dr Najibullah there was a special tribunal for Mujahedeen. They would hang Mujahedeen member's right after their capture. There should be a similar tribunal for terrorists," NDS Spokesman Lotfullah Mashal said.

In the past one year around 2,200 insurgents that were detained by security forces, imprisoned, according to the statistics provided by NDS.
