ZARANAJ - Construction work on a water distribution network in Kang district of Nimroz province was officially inaugurated on Monday.
The project is funded by the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development at a total cost of AFN 8,968,910.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Nimroz Governor Eng. Mohammad Sami, members of parliament, national council members, acting director of the provincial office of Rural Rehabilitation and Development and other local officials.
“The facility will provide potable water to the district’s people and will create work opportunities for about 4000 individuals,” said Governor Mohammad Sami.
The Governor called on the residents to cooperate with the government in keeping the creek clean.(Wadsom)
