KABUL - Ahmad Zia Massoud, president's special envoy for reform and good governance on Friday said terrorists have been implementing the strategies of intelligence agencies of the region in Afghanistan.
During the first death anniversary of Hakmatullah Haqmal, the former police chief of Grishk district in southern Helmand province, Massoud said that terrorists don’t recognize any tribe and religion, but they only implement the strategies given by the intelligence agencies of the region.
Haqmal was killed last year as a result of a roadside bombing in Grishk district of Helmand province.
“In order to bring political stability and cultural development for the country, it is our national and religious duty to fight against terrorism” he said.
It is the duty of the unity government to seriously fight against terrorism and corruption for the sack of security and stability in the country, he said adding reforms in judiciary organs should take place and the corrupt people should be punished. (Pajhwok)
