NUG Leaders Fail to Keep their Promises: CMSJ

KABUL - Civic Movement of Social Justice (CMSJ) on Friday accused the leaders of unity government for having no intention to bring reforms in the electoral system or keep their promises.
During a press conference, the CMSJ chairman, Ahmad Zaki said the leaders of the government were not committed to the political agreement of the unity government.
“The unity government will be not acceptable for us beyond its two-year term. Delay and negligence for electoral reforms are also not acceptable, so the government should take urgent measures to bring electoral reforms,” he said.
“The current government neither recognized the law, nor committed to its pledges. After passing nearly two years of the dark period, the security and defence forces have been still led by acting ministers,” he said.
The government was unable to conduct Loya Jirga which would decide on the formation of the government system, he said adding the government would not be legitimate if the Jirga was not organised. (Pajhwok)
