Russia Puts Forth Initiatives to Resume Talks Among Parties to Iran Nuclear Deal - Lavrov

MOSCOW - Russia has come up with a number of initiatives to resume full-fledged interaction among the parties to the Iran nuclear deal, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.
"As regards other issues on which Russia and Germany actively cooperate, I'd like to highlight the situation surrounding the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action [JCPOA]. Here, there is a whole range of ideas put forth by our European colleagues. Russia, in turn, has also submitted some proposals, which, in our opinion, will help resume cooperation among all signatories to the JCPOA without any exceptions," Lavrov said following talks with German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas.
"I hope we will discuss these initiatives in greater detail," the Russian minister said.
Russia counts on cooperation with Germany on other international issues as well, he said. (Interfax)
