A Hopeful Report!

A few days earlier, an America-based organization, Asia Foundation issued the results of its studies conducted in the present year. This was the eight survey of its kind being conducted in almost all the provinces of countries and thousands of people from different walks of life were questioned in it.

The questions were about the performance of different organs of government and the trust of people on them. This year's report was quite better as it showed some better and healthy progress in the perception of people about the government and general conditions of the country. One of the most important findings in this survey was about the view of people about the stability of country after the withdrawal of foreign troops in 2014.

Almost 52% people were of the view that country would be able to resist this blow and would be able to stay stable on its own. They were hopeful that our own institutions, along with the unity and efforts of masses, would be able to run the country without any fear of overtake by non-democratic forces.

Similarly, 93% people trusted on our National Armed Forces that they are trained and efficient enough to manage the security of country after the Allied forces leave the country and handover this heavy responsibility to them. Similarly, 82% people were sure that National Police was moving in the right direction and they are skilled enough to control the situation of law and order in the country.

Similarly, majority of people were confident about the present economic progress of the country and they hoped that the country's economy would further strengthen with the passage of time and country would soon become self-sufficient.

Comparing to the last study analysis issued in 2011, this report shows a very good and pleasant picture when trust of people about the stability, strength and progress has comparatively increased. Comparing to the last report, there have been considerable rise in the trust of people regarding different organs of government and the general stability of country.

This is a very good report and in this time of hopelessness, when people are scared of unexpected conditions after the withdrawal of foreign forces in 2012, it comes as a ray of hope. It is necessary that we, as a nation, need to develop build our trust on our country and if we don't believe in it, we would not be able to convince others. It would also lessen different frightening rumors and would light a new candle of hope about the prosperity and progress of our dear country.
